Classic Summertime Carolina Slaw Dogs

Hey Reader,

This week we are having a perfect summertime dinner of Carolina slaw dogs — perfectly grilled hot dogs are topped with chili dog sauce and creamy coleslaw! And we're serving them up with a side of the best air fryer potato wedges.

And for Father's Day, show Dad some love by making him a dinner of grilled flank steak with a side of Cajun potatoes, BLT tortellini pasta, and a chocolate cobbler for dessert!

On the Menu:

• Main: Carolina Slaw Dogs - This hot dog is EVERYTHING. I loved them as a kid, and I still love them now. They are my absolute favorite way to eat a hot dog.

You start with a perfectly grilled hot dog in a fresh bun (toasted or not is up to you), then you top it with hot dog chili sauce, and creamy coleslaw.

• Side: Air Fryer Potato Wedges - These perfectly seasoned potato wedges are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and are finished with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan and fresh parsley.

The Father's Day Weekend Spread:

These are my favorite Father’s Day dishes—simple to make and always a hit.

• Main: Grilled Flank Steak - A flavor-packed marinade and a high-heat grilling method are my secrets to a perfectly grilled steak.

• Side: BLT Tortellini Pasta Salad - Inspired by a classic BLT sandwich, this pasta salad is outrageously good with the addition of cheese tortellini and a delicious creamy dressing!

• Side: Air Fryer Cajun Potatoes - With classic Cajun seasoning, these air fryer potatoes are extra crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

• Dessert: Southern Chocolate Cobbler - Part brownie, part lava cake, this decadent cobbler bakes into a warm cake-like top with a gooey sauce underneath.
