🧑 Friends Are Staying the Weekend & Only the Best Will Do

Hey Reader!

There is nothing I love more than a full house. Friends staying for the weekend, coffee in the morning, long afternoons, and a kitchen that always has something good ready to go.

This is how I do it. I make a few things ahead, keep it simple, and let the food do the talking.

Here is what's happening in my kitchen this weekend:

Creamy Cucumber Tomato Pasta Salad β€” made the night before and better every hour it sits.

Southern Tomato Pie β€” peak summer flavor in every slice. This one never lasts long.

Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad β€” tender, crunchy, and perfect on a cracker or tucked into a sandwich anytime someone gets hungry.

Southern Ham Salad β€” always on the counter, always disappearing fast.

Sausage and Cheese Bread β€” warm, cheesy, and the first thing that goes every single time.

This is my kind of weekend hosting. Food that is ready when people are hungry, a kitchen that feels relaxed, and a table that always has room for one more.
