My Slow Cooker Secret for Juicy Chicken Thighs

Hey Reader,

This week we are making crock pot chicken thighs served over mushroom rice to soak up that delicious sauce, a side of roasted broccoli, and million dollar pie for dessert

And for your Memorial Day weekend spread: grapefruit salty dogs, whipped ranch dip, Southern potato salad, and Carolina slaw dogs!

On the Menu:

• Main: Crock Pot Chicken Thighs - No guessing. No complicated steps. Just well-seasoned chicken thighs cooked low and slow until they practically fall apart.

• Sides: One Pot Mushroom Rice - Fluffy rice, caramelized mushrooms, onions, and garlic combine to make this savory side!

• Sides: Roasted Broccoli - Fresh broccoli, roasted with olive oil, nutty Parmesan cheese, and crunchy homemade breadcrumbs might just be the best, most simple side dish ever!

• Dessert: Million Dollar Pie - It has a creamy, dreamy filling in a buttery graham cracker pie crust that’s easy to make and even easier to enjoy!

The Weekend Spread:

Not a menu, but some of my favorite seasonal recipes to enjoy all weekend long.

• Summer Cocktail: Grapefruit Salty Dog - With 4 simple ingredients and 5 minutes of your time, you can make this refreshing summer cocktail with a fresh burst of citrus flavor.

• Appetizer: Whipped Ranch Dip - Silky, light, and full of that tangy, herby flavor we all love, this dip is guaranteed to disappear fast!

• Classic Side: Southern Potato Salad - This potato salad is creamy, tangy, a little sweet, and full of that old-fashioned flavor that tastes like summer.

•🌭Cookout Main: Carolina Slaw Dog - Homemade coleslaw topping, a perfectly cooked hot dog, a soft bun, and a few extras added in for a memorable bite that makes you feel like a kid again.
