A Sheet Pan Dinner With Off The Charts Flavor

Hey Reader,

This week we are making sheet pan honey glazed chicken and carrots with a fresh tomato cucumber salad, sour cream cornbread, and million dollar poundcake for dessert.

And The Weekend Spread, to help you relax with friends and family, featuring: pimento cheese sausage quiche for a weekend brunch, Southern grape salad, and cornbread salad to snack on, and grill up some pineapple to go with the million dollar pound cake!

On the Menu:

• Main: Sheet Pan Honey Glazed Chicken - The chicken’s juices infuse the carrots with savory goodness, while the glaze caramelizes and creates a light, sticky crust on the chicken.

• Sides: Tomato Cucumber Salad - Brimming with the bright flavor of fresh veggies tossed in a zesty herb dressing, this vibrant salad tastes like summer in every bite!

• Sides: Sour Cream Cornbread - Simple ingredients, big Southern flavor—it’s thick, golden-edged, and tender all the way through.

• Dessert: Million Dollar Pound Cake - A classic Southern pound cake that's buttery, golden, rich with vanilla and almond flavor, and deserves its name.

The Weekend Spread:

Not a menu, but some of my favorite seasonal recipes to enjoy all weekend long.

• Dessert: Grilled Pineapple - Ready in minutes, this pineapple turns out sweet, smoky, and caramelized. Serve with a slice of pound cake and scoop of ice cream.

• Side: Cornbread Salad - Crispy, savory, and so easy, this is the make-ahead potluck star that disappears every time.

• Brunch: Pimento Cheese Sausage Quiche - Sharp cheddar, savory breakfast sausage, and a silky egg custard baked in a deep dish crust.

• Quick Bite: Southern Grape Salad - Serve as a side, snack, or dessert—this salad is amazingly fresh, sweet, and creamy with an irresistible crunchy topping!

Big Batch Bourbon Arnold Palmer

Hey Reader! It started as something I threw together for a backyard cookout. One pitcher. Gone in twenty minutes. Now it is the thing everyone asks me to bring. This Big Batch Bourbon Arnold Palmer is made with real homemade lemonade, cold Southern sweet tea, and your favorite bourbon. The best part — you make the whole pitcher the night before and just pour over ice when guests arrive. Set the bourbon on the side and let everyone pour their own. Trust me on that one. I finally got it right. And I wrote every bit of it down for you. Southern Fried Squash Try This Recipe What to Serve With This I season the squash with my house seasoning, then pair it with sheet pan ranch chicken, or grilled pork...
